Abstract

1363613 Dry colour applicator for hair dyeing A N SPANEL 19 Jan 1973 [14 April 1972] 2955/73 Heading D1B A dry colour applicator for dyeing hair comprises a multi-sided block of colouring wax within an apertured enclosure, the sides of the block providing a plurality of colour applying surfaces and means enabling selective presentation of successive surfaces for hair colouring. The applicator may also comprise a brush and/or comb which may be pivotally or detachably mounted on the enclosure. Red ochre, burnt sienna, Tuscan red, yellow ochre, chrome yellow, carbon black and titanium dioxide may be used as colourants. Preferably the wax block is rotatable in the enclosure and may be of rectangular or triangular shape and fastened by a thumb screw.
