Abstract

1363106 Lamps CAVIS SpA 21 Sept 1971 [21 Sept 1970] 43932/71 Heading F4R A light distributer for feeding light into light guiding cables comprises an opaque cylinder 1 having attachment members 2, 3 for the cables and containing a light source 5 with an elliptical light distribution curve, the amount of light entering the cables being varied by rotating the source by means of a knob 4. In a modification (Fig. 2, not shown) the source is fixed and an arcuate screen (9) of graduated thickness or colour is rotated by the knob between the source and the ends of the cables.
