Abstract

1363057 Ornamental light H NAGEL [trading as GE-NA-GESCHENKE Gebr NAGEL KG] 14 March 1973 [1 April 1972] 12307/73 Heading F4R An ornamental light fitting has a plurality of bimetallic strips 2 with plastic, metal or glass knobs 18 surrounded by a glass globe 3. The heat given out by the candle causes the strips to sway. As the candle burns down it is pushed up against the lip 7 of a tube 6 by a spring 8. The amount of sway of the strips 2 is adjusted by turning tube 11 thus causing it to rise or fall on a helix 9. As the tube 11 rises it moves a rubber ring 17 which allows the strips to sway more. The ends of the strips 2 are held by a split ring 16.
