Abstract

1360607 Plastics reinforced tube GENERAL ENTERPRISES CORP (HELLAS) Ltd 28 July 1971 [14 Aug 1970] 39406/70 Heading F2P [Also in Divisiion B5] A plastics pipe is extruded with the incorporation, within the extruder die passage (see Division B5), of a layer of two spiral and simultaneously extruded reinforcements of a more rigid plastics embedded within the pipe wall of a softer plastics. The reinforcement may be tubular, or may be of generally S-shaped cross-section, Fig. 2, and the spirals may be spaced apart, as at B, Fig. 1, to roduce a flexible tube, or may be in overlapping engaged contact, as at A, to produce a rigid tube.
