Abstract

136,029. Gormly, W. J. Feb. 10, 1919. Shade-holders. - Electric-lamp shades are secured between the shoulder 9 of the lamp-holder 6 and half-rings 4, which are carried by arms 3 pivoted to a ring frame 1 and are pressed into engagement with the threads on the lamp-holder by means of a helical spring ring 7 or other spring device. The half-rings are made with an internal thread so as to give a firm grip and allow slight rotational adjustment. Pressure on the arms 3 releases the shades.
