Abstract

1359306 Heating building structures J PFISTER 21 June 1971 [30 June 1970] 29050/71 Heading E1W [Also in Division F4] A floor or ceiling structure includes a number of cover members 14 defining spaces for heating pipes 10 having transverse heat conducting metal sheets 13 clamped thereto. The cover members are made of plastic material and comprise a plurality of side by side spaces 1. Each space is bounded by a top wall 4 and longitudinal and transverse walls 2, 3. The transverse walls of adjacent spaces are connected together by a base web 5 and a tunnel portion 7 and have recesses (6, Fig. 3) for the heating pipe. The tunnel portion 7 has slots 8 adapted to receive wire clips 9 for fastening the cover member to the heating pipe. A concrete layer 15 covers the members 14 and a floor covering 16 covers the concrete layer. An insulating layer 12 is interposed between the cover members 14 and the ceiling 11.
