Abstract

1357314 PVC compositions BERGVIKS HARTSPRODUKTER AB 30 Jan 1973 [17 Feb 1972] 4615/73 Headings C3P and C3R Suspension polymerized P.V.C. is compounded with up to 10 phr. of an alkyd resin modified with a resin containing more than 95% of free resin acids to obtain a resin-modified alkyd having a ball and ring softening point of at least 90‹ C. The modified alkyd is added to rigid or plasticized P.V.C. The alkyd resins used are " oil-free " and are modified with colophony or tall oil or a modified form of such a resin.
