1355779 Lithium-titanium-bismuth-cobalt ferrites AMPEX CORP 21 Aug 1972 [7 Sept 1971] 38960/72 Heading C1J Lithium - titanium - bismuth cobalt ferrites of formula in which 0À001<α<0À1; 0À0005###0À065; 0À30#x#0À95; 0#z#0À20; 0#w#0À4; and are claimed per se. They are made conventionally by mixing oxides or carbonates of metals in stoichiometric amounts followed by solid state reaction at elevated temperature and grinding. Comparative examples demonstrate the importance of the Co component.
