Abstract

1354850 Packaging collapsible tubes COLGATE-PALMOLIVE CO 19 April 1972 [20 April 1971] 18160/72 Heading B8C A package of capped open ended collapsible tubes 13 comprises at least one layer of such tubes, the tubes in each layer being similarly orientated and arranged side-by-side in parallel alignment and being held in position by a pair of shaped trays 11, 16 at opposite ends of the layer, each tray having in it a plurality of indentations 12 each providing a corresponding protrusion at the other side of the tray, each indentation being shaped to receive and locate a cap 14 of a tube and each protrusion being shaped to project into the open end of a tube, and retaining means, e.g. a clip 17 for holding the trays together against the ends of the tubes. The package may be enclosed in an outer container.
