Abstract

1353923 Slow-release pesticides SHELL INTERNATIONALE RESEARCH MAATSCHAPPIJ NV 19 April 1972 [21 April 1971] 10484/71 Heading A5E A process for the preparation of a porous slow-release pesticidal composition comprises heating a mixture of a plastisol containing a solid organic polymeric macromolecular substance and a plasticizer, and a volatile organic pesticidal phosphorus-containing compound adsorbed onto a material with which it is incompatible, to gelation. The phosphorus-containing compound is suitably a dialkyl vinyl phosphate.
