Rail 16 is attached vertically to the door, while the hinge comprising fixed part 42 through which pin 44 passes and pivotable part 45 is attached to the top of the frame. A "knee lever joint" (not shown) attached to frame and door helps to keep the rail and rail guide connection stable.
