Floors of reinforced-concrete girders side by side; reinforced-concrete girders.-In floor of the kind formed by placing side by side reinforced-concrete beams of T section alternately upright and inverted, the upright or floor beams are given a greater bearing area at their ends by enlarging the full depth of the web towards the ends of the beam, as shown bv the lines g, h in Figs. 1 and 2. The flanges of the ceiling joists conform to this shape.
