Abstract

1351237 Lighting fittings AGFA-GEVAERT AG 9 June 1971 [11 June 1970] 19697/71 Heading F4R [Also in Division G2) In a photographic printing apparatus, an original 3 to be copied is illuminated by a rodshaped electronic flash lamp 2 lying along the axis of symmetry of a reflector 1, which reflector is shaped so that any cross-section thereof in a plane containing the axis of symmetry increases in width along the axis towards the original. In a preferred embodiment, the internal surface of the reflector is a pyramidal surface open at the base, and the surfaces are partially transmitting. They may be semi-silvered or formed as cold mirrors. A light mixer 5 may be positioned between the reflector 1 and the original 3, which is bordered by a mask 4. Colour filters 7 may be inserted between the mixer 5 and the reflector 1.
