Abstract

1350937 Device for generating an electric field R RIESS 22 Sept 1971 [22 Sept 1970] 44204/71 Heading A5R An apparatus for generating a variable pulsating electric field in an enclosed space comprises a transformer 10 connected to a cascade 12 of capacitors and rectifiers and a switch 14 activated by a regulable time relay 16. The apparatus is connected to a potential grid 18 similar to a Faraday cage and produces a saw-toothed type potential with a slow rise and a steep drop within the grid. It is stated that the apparatus possesses theraputic and convalescence-promoting properties when surrounding a human being.
