Abstract

134,969. Rigby, W. Nov. 23, 1918. Animal traps.-A continuous-action trap comprises a pivoted platform F which is turned by a spring or weighted cord D when the catch H is released by the animal. This catch is formed on a plate J pivoted at K and carrying the bait L at its upper end. The plate is controlled by an elastic cord P and protected by a cover I. The animal is projected into the chamber A and passes by a non-return door T into a cage or water-container. According to the Provisional Specification, the platform F is made of smooth metal or glass.
