Abstract

1347939 Magnetic record discs INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORP 27 Oct 1972 [6 Nov 1971] 49543/72 Heading G5R A magnetic data storage disc 10, which may be one of a stack mounted on a hub 1, is provided with a hub ring 12 through which it is driven and is stiffened by a ring 13 coaxial with and of greater diameter than the hub ring 12, the ring 13 being secured to one face of the disc 10 at a plurality of spaced points. The disc 10 may include a ring 17 of resilient material adjacent to the hub ring 12.
