Abstract
1347721 Fracturing ESSO PRODUCTION RESEARCH CO 21 July 1971 [30 Sept 1970 24 May 1971] 34162/71 Heading E1F A fracturing fluid comprises an oil-in-water emulsion of 50 to 80 per cent hydrocarbon and a gum which imparts a viscosity of 10 to 200 centipoises and a shear rate of 511 reciprocal seconds to the aqueous phase. Natural and synthetic gums are exemplified.
