Abstract

1346999 P.V.C. stabilizers INTERSTAB Ltd 27 Sept 1971 [2 Oct 1970] 46922/70 Heading C3P P.V.C. is stabilized with a mixture of (a) R 2 Sn(S(CH 2 ) n COOR<SP>1</SP>) 2 and (b) a minor proportion of RSn(S(CH 2 ) n COOR<SP>1</SP>) 3 where n is 1 or 2 and R and R<SP>1</SP> are C 1 -C 18 alkyl. Exemplified mixtures are dibutyl tin and monobutyl tin salts of iso-octyl thioglycollate or the equivalent octyl tin compounds or dibutyl tin bis-(isooctyl thioglycollate) with butyl tin tris-(isooctyl #-mercaptopropionate).
