1346432 Pressure gauges M H GLASSPOOL 1 March 1972 [1 March 1971] 5641/71 Heading G1L In a "U" tube monometer one arm of the arms 1, 2 is loaded to a predetermined pressure by a diaphragm or a piston and cylinder apparatus 7, 8 located in a line passing between the arms 1, 2. In an alternative embodiment the piston and cylinder is, in the operative position, Fig. 2, (not shown), located on a line between and above the arms and connected to one of the arms by a valve and, in the inoperative position, is rotated in a vertical plane to a position between the arms.
