Abstract

1,194,075. Winding webs. F. DRABERT AND F. DRABERT, [trading as DRABERT SOHNE]. 24 May, 1968 [26 May, 1967], No. 24814/68. Addition to 1,068,441. Heading B8R. As the diameter of a roll of textile material 1 increases, a pressure roller 1 mounted on a pivoted arm 5 and loaded by a fluid pressure cylinder 4, exerts a progressively increasing pressure on the roll, due to fluid pressure being transmitted from the cylinder to a fluid pressure reservoir 24 via conduit 23. The reservoir comprises either a cylinder, the piston of which is acted upon. by at least one spring 26, or a container (25, Fig. 2) with a bladder (27) enclosing fluid under pressure.
