Abstract

1346300 Cementitious compositions IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 19 May 1971 [3 June 1970] 26839/70 Addition to 1192864 Heading C1H [Also in Division C3] A cement composition contains silica, water, a polyisocyanate and one or more of monohydric alcohols, monocarboxylic acid M.W. at least 60, or a compound containing at least one epoxy group provided that when it is the reaction product of diphenylol propane with epichlorhydride it does not contain more than one OH group. The cements, polyisocyanates and other optionals are as in Specification 1,192,864. Esters, ketones and HCs can be used as solvents. Fillers as in Specification 1,342,063 can also be included.
