Abstract

134,502. Birch, H. June 24, 1919. Gravity-feed lubricators.-The outlet from an oil cup is closed by a spring-pressed plunger 7 sliding in a tube 5 and formed with a central bore 12. By pressing on the projecting end 8 of the plunger, holes 10, 13 are brought into register and oil flows through the outlet. The plunger may have an annular groove at the level of the holes 13. A nut 6 screws on to the end of the tube 5 projecting through the cover 3.
