Abstract

1344155 Measuring properties of magnetic materials M N T OTALA 20 Aug 1971 [20 Aug 1970] 39148/71 Heading G1N The grain size distribution of a ferromagnetic material is investigated by pulse-height analysis of the Berkhausen effect steps produced during magnetisation. In Fig.5, a primary winding is energized with a triangular waveform. Pulses induced in the secondary winding are analysed and their amplitude distribution displayed on an oscilloscope, which may be marked with a desired distribution curve.
