Abstract

1343223 Electric motor SUWA SEIKOSHA KK 26 Jan 1972 [17 Feb 1971] 3643/72 Heading H2A [Also in Divisions G3 and F2] In a detent mechanism a "pallet jewel" 40 engaging a toothed wheel 15 prevents reverse rotation of the wheel, the jewel being carried at one end of a spring member 22 which urges the jewel into contact with the toothed wheel. The other end of the spring member is carried on a rotatable pin 43 mounted on a pivotable support member 25 pivoted about a pin 26 such that rotation of the pin 43 causes radial movement of the jewel with respect to the wheel, while movement of the support member about the pin 26 causes tangential movement of the jewel with respect to the wheel 15. The toothed wheel 15 is driven by engagement with a six pole stepping rotor mounted between stator members 12 and 13 the respective poles of which are determined by magnetization of stator 12 by a series of pulses, Fig. 2 (not shown), from a coil (not shown).
