Tool 5 has teeth 9 which mesh with teeth in a bore of member 10, and the latter is secured by a screw 11, and a key 12. In a modification, a flange 14a on the tool Figs. 3, 5, has two toothed segments 15 which mesh with teeth 19 on a ring 18, the latter being secured in the adjusted position by two screws 17 which pass through semi-circular grooves (16) Fig. 4 (not shown), in the flange. In a further modification, the ring 20, Fig. 6, is locked to a flange 21a on the tool by an anti-friction lining 22, and the ring drives a tool changer via a groove 23. In a still further modification, ring 24, Fig. 8, has internal teeth meshing with teeth 25 on the tool, and a U-shaped drive groove for the tool changer is provided. In another modification, the tool 33, Figs. 11, 12, has a groove 34 into which fits a split-ring 35, 36, clamped in the groove by screws 37, 38. In yet another modification, ring 39 is locked to the tool 42, Figs. 13, 14, by two screws 40, which mesh with teeth or knurling 41 on the tool.
