Abstract

1342358 Granular urea/aldehyde fertilizer FISONS Ltd 11 Aug 1971 [15 Aug 1970 26 March 1971] 39437/70 and 7996/71 Heading C1B A granular urea/aldehyde condensation product, wherein the particles are bonded by potassium chloride and calcium sulphate, is obtained by tumbling or agitating the particles at a pH of at least 5À5 in the presense of water, calcium chloride and potassium sulphate. Other calcium and/or magnesium salts which react with the potassium sulphate also may be present and specified are magnesium chloride, magnesium nitrate and calcium nitrate. Optional additives are monoammonium phosphate, calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate.
