1341392 Artificial stone CLUGSTON HOLDINGS Ltd A C FILSON and E FILSON [trading as GREENFOOT LABORATORIES] 14 June 1971 [15 June 1970] 28805/70 Heading ClH [Also in Division C3] An organically bound analogue of a "nofines" concrete consists of an aggregate sized greater than # inch bonded by a totally convertible (defined) organically based matrix containing reactive groups having a physicochemical affinity (defined) for the aggregate. Specified aggregates are fuel ashes, slag, clays, slates or shales in expanded condition. The binder bases specified are polyesters, liquid epoxy resins, polyunsaturated HCs, polyurethanes and polysulphides. Copolymers of, e.g. polyesters and poly HCs with vinyl or acrylic compounds, and epoxies, polysulphides and polyurethanes with amines, phenols, COOH acids or -SH groups in polysulphides.
