Abstract

1341017 Preventing scaling of walls SOLICITOR FOR THE AFFAIRS OF HER MAJESTYS TREASURY 19 April 1971 [23 Feb 1970] 8530/70 Heading E1B A canopy for preventing the scaling of walls comprises a plurality of moulded glass fibre reinforced plastics units 1 secured to the top of a wall by flanges 5 having securing strips 6 and secured end to end by projections on closed end 8 engaging the opposite open end 7 of an adjacent unit. The lateral projection 3 is directed towards the inside of the wall. For walls with uneven upper surfaces or some crumbling bricks, a beam with spaced upstanding projections may be secured along the top of the wall and the units secured thereto.
