1341001 Pigmented resin compositions IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 21 April 1971 [14 May 1970] 23413/70 Addition to 1253623 Heading C3R [Also in Division C4] In Example 1 an improved chrome pigment is incorporated into an alkyd/melamine-formaldehyde resin paint. The pigment is obtained by a modification of the process of Specification 1,253,623 in which the organic hydroxy acid is other than citric or tartaric (Ex. 1: malic acid) and the final pH is adjusted to 1-3 by addition of an acid (H 2 SO 4 ).
