1340957 Making pump stators; soldering SIGMA LUTIN NARODNI PODNIK 18 June 1971 [3 July 1970] 28759/71 Headings B3A and B3R [Also in Division F1] A stator for a rotary pump is made by joining together a plurality of apertured stator elements 1 whilst they are arranged in coaxial relationship on a jig. A stator for a three spindle pump is made by coaxially assembling stamped elements 1 on a jig, each element 1 having a bore 2; joining the elements 1 to each other by diffusion soldering and forming bores (shown in broken lines) by machining. The jig, which may be formed of three longitudinal sections, has the same cross-section as that of the stator bore and a length at least equal to the stator length.
