1339829 Glass composition PPG INDUSTRIES Inc 22 July 1971 [23 July 1970 (4)] 34422/71 Heading C1M [Also in Divisions C7 E1 and B5] Soda-lime-silica glass suitable for electroless coating with Fe, Co and/or Ni contains 65-75 wt. % SiO 2 , 10-18% Na 2 O, 5-15% CaO, 1-5% MgO, 0-1% Na 2 SO 4 , 0-5% Al 2 O 3 , 0-8% K 2 O, 0-8% B 2 O 3 , 0-1% Fe 2 O 3 , and 0-0À7% in total of NaCl, SO 3 , As 2 O 5 , BaO, NiO, CoO and Se, a typical composition being 68- 73À5 SiO 2 , 12-17 Na 2 O, 7-12 CaO, 2-4 MgO, 0-0À8 Na 2 SO 4 , 0-0À3 NaCl, 0À05-0À09 Fe 2 O 3 , 0-3À5 Al 2 O 3 , 0-6 B 2 O 3 , 0-1À5 K 2 O, 0-0À5 As 2 O 3 , 0-0À7 BaO, 0-0À1 NiO, 0-0À1 CoO, 0-0À5 SO 3 and 0-0À1 Se (wt. per cent).
