1339629 Compositions comprising lichen meal and/or lichen extract KEIMDIAT GmbH 19 April 1971 [31 Jan 1970] 20794/71 Heading A5B A pharmaceutical composition for promoting bactericidal and virocidal activity in order to increase the resistance of a body towards disease comprises lichen meal and/or lichen extract (as defined) prepared from tree and/or rock lichen selected from at least one of Parmelia furfuraceae and Usnae barbata, the composition being in admixture with a pharmaceutical carrier or diluent. The compositions may also contain vitamin A or E.
