Abstract

1338687 Clothes pegs H L SNAITH 28 Oct 1971 [30 April 1971] 50267/71 Heading E2B A clothes peg consists of a one piece moulding of a synthetic resin plastics material having at least three legs, the legs being displaced from each other along a line corresponding to that of a clothes line on which the peg is to be used with adjacent legs on opposite sides of the clothes line. Each leg is ribbed 5 and provided with a ridge 12 towards its top end so that when the peg is applied to the clothes line the ridges are sprung over the line; the legs overlap at their lower end portions and then spread outwardly to provide a lead in for the line.
