1337354 α - Methyl - 1 - adamantylmethylamine hydrochloride INSTITUT ORGANI CHESKOGO SINTEZA AKADEMII NAULATVIISKOI SSR 3 Jan 1972 30/72 Heading C2C α - Methyl - 1 - adamantylmethylamine hydrochloride is prepared by reacting 1- adamantyl methyl ketone with ammonium formate, formamide, a mixture of formamide and formic acid or a mixture of acetamide and formic acid at the boiling temperature of the reaction mixture, followed by hydrolysis with hydrochloric acid and isolation of the desired product. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,069,563.
