Abstract

1336905 Screw and nut gearing TRIANGLE CONTROLS Ltd 9 May 1972 [11 March 1971] 6634/71 Heading F2Q [Also in Division H1] A mechanism for operating limit switches 16 comprises a nut 22 which moves axially along a threaded spindle 21, on rotation of spindle 21, the nut 22 carrying a projection 23 which, at predetermined end positions, is adapted to engage projections 36 on stops 34, 35 which are rotated at a reduced speed from spindle 21, thereby causing a plate 26 to tilt and actuate a switch operating plate 17. A notch 24 in the periphery of nut 22 engages a rod 25 extending between end plates 26. The stops 34, 35 are adjustably positioned on a threaded shaft 32.
