1336339 Bearings; shift seals SKF KUGELLAGERFABRIKEN GmbH 20 April 1971 [8 May 1970] 10223/71 Heading F2A and F2B A rolling bearing comprises a disc seal 9 and a resilient disc 4, which discs define between them a lubricant chamber 12; the disc 4 is deformed by the edge 5 of the cage 6 when the rolling elements come under axial load so that lubricant is expelled from the chamber. The disc seal may have double or single lips 8. There may be a radial extension of the part 1 between the seal 9 and the flange 7.
