Abstract

1336212 Discharge apparatus G F MEYER 19 April 1971 [20 March 1970] 24599/71 Heading H1X [Also in Division A5] An ion generating apparatus suitable for use in a house room for therapeutic purposes (see Division A5) includes a power supply which, under control of a timer cyclically applies 4,000 volts positive and negative to a first and a second electrode, respectively, exposed to the air, to supply to the room ions of apposite sign in successive periods. The apparatus may further include a fan to blow air over the electrodes.
