1334855 Vehicle lamp JOSEPH LUCAS (INDUSTRIES) Ltd 19 April 1971 [19 March 1970] 13417/70 Heading F4R An auxiliary lamp for a vehicle has a casing 10 with a transparent panel 11 at the front and a moveable shield 12. The shield 12 may be held in the closed or open position by an overcentring spring and be manually operated by lip 12a or the shield may be operated by a cable from within the vehicle. In another embodiment, a spring biases the shield towards its open position but an electromagnetic catch holds the shield closed until the lamp is switched on.
