133,389. Caterpillar Tractors, Ltd., (Holt Manufacturing Co.). Aug. 13, 1918. Endless-track vehicles.-In a chain-track tractor &c.. fitted with trucks, the trucks are connected to the main frame by a loosely pivoted link which prevents them from falling when the tractor passes over a depression. The main frame 10 is supported on the pivoted truck sections 11, 12 by means of a pivoted cross-member 20 to the front, and by springs 30 engaging cheeks 32 to the rear. The links 33 are pivoted to lugs on the cheeks 32 and are connected to the rear truck sections 12 by pins 34 riding in slots in the links. The upper run of the chain track is supported by rollers 41, 43 carried on the cheeks 32 and front truck section 11 respectively.
