Abstract
1332198 Adjustable dental chairs SIEMENS AG 1 Jan 1971 [3 Jan 1970] 143/71 Heading A4J In a dental patients' chair, the part 3 including the backrest and the part 4 including the leg-rest are pivotable together relative to the support 1 and pivotable relative to each other about a common horizontal axis 5. Handles (9, 10) Fig. 2 (not shown) provided with forearm supports (13) may be detachably secured to the chair preferably for rotation about the pivot axis 5. An adjustable or removable head rest may be associated with the backrest. The frames of the two parts may be of glass fibre reinforced polyester resin or a rigid integral foam with reinforcement. The frames may be covered with resilient foam with or without a "breathing skin" surface and with a micro-porous core.
