1331723 Electrode holders INSTITUT ELEKTROSVARKI IMENI E O PATONA AKADEMII NAUK UKRAINSKOI SSR 5 July 1971 [17 Aug 1970] 31466/71 Heading H5H A current-conducting electrode holder 4 has an outer surface of spherical shape for engaging a tapered seat 5. Seat 5 is insulated by a spacer 6 from a bracket 7 of an electroslag remelting apparatus. The electrode head 1 is secured by a bolt 3 and pressure plate 2. The mounting prevents the electrode from touching the walls of the mould when adjusted in the course of the melting process.
