1330849 Making axle cases PAUL GRANBY & CO Ltd 29 Sept 1970 46235/70 Heading B3A [Also in Division B7] A vehicle axle case, of the kind having a central enlargement for differential or other gearing, is made from two half axle cases welded centrally together, each half axle case being formed from a length of tube 3 which is expanded to form a section of the enlargement by drawing, extruding, spinning, or a combination thereof. The parts may be of metal, plastics material, or a combination of both. Separate hub ends 4, Fig. 2, may be welded to the lengths of tube.
