Abstract

1330807 Tape dispensers R T W CAMBRIDGE and L J DWYER 27 April 1972 19686/72 Heading A4G A dispenser for material in roll form, e. g. note paper, comprises an outer tube 2, an inner tube 1 mounted non-rotatably within the outer tube, the inner tube having an aperture 11 through which the material may pass to a space 12 between the inner and outer tubes, and the outer tube has an aperture 13 through which the material may pass from the space to the outside. Aperture 14, which may or may not communicate with aperture 13 is provided so that the material in the space can be urged outwardly e.g. by a finger. Edge 17 may be chamfered to act as a cutting edge, and edge 15 chamfered to avoid any cutting action. As shown, the space may be provided by making the wall of the inner tube of reduced thickness over part of its circumference. The tubes may be held against relative rotation by a co-operating projection and recess, and against longitudinal motion by an end cap which press-fits into the ends of both tubes. The end cap may carry a clip to enable the tube to be attached to a pocket in the manner of a pen. The dispenser may also incorporate a pen or pencil.
