Abstract

1330805 Treatment of bacterial-elastase infection RESEARCH CORP 21 April 1972 18599/72 Heading A5B The toxic effects of infection of a non-human animal by elastase-elaborating bacteria are minimized by parenteral administration of purified bacterial-elastase or immune serum containing antibodies against bacterial-elastase. The bacterial-elastase may be derived from Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The immune serum may be prepared by parenteral administration of bacterial elastase to another animal.
