Abstract

1330249 Device for displaying variable information I GEE 22 March 1972 [13 April 1971] 9276/71 Heading G5C [Also in Division G3] A device displays variable information relating to personnel location by means of rotating drums 14, 15, 16 each of which is arranged to display one of the numbers around its periphery through an aperture 17, 18, 19 in the panel 11. The drums are arranged in series to give items of information as indicated by the legends on the panel 11, Fig. 1. The drums are manipulated individually by means of knurled portions 14a, 15a, 16a and each drum has flats 20 on which bears a leaf spring 21 to locate a number on the drum in its corresponding display aperture. The leaf springs 21 can be moved against springs 26, 27 by means of external levers 28, 29 out of engagement with the flats of all or some of the drums which are weighted as at 30 to return to their zero position when their spring 21 is disengaged.
