1329807 Odoriferous compositions L GIVAUDAN & CIE SA 10 March 1972 [12 March 1971] 11353/72 Heading A5B Odoriferous compositions, in particular perfumes, are prepared by incorporating 1, 4adimethyl-1, 2, 3, 4, 4a, 5, 6, 7-octahydro-naphthalen-7-one having the formula: preferably in an amount of 1-30 wt% as a fragrance-modifying additive, into an odoriferous composition. The perfume compositions may be of the woody, animal, amber-like or chypre character.
