Abstract

1329566 Developer powder dispenser MINNESOTA MINING & MFG CO 19 Oct 1970 [20 Oct 1969] 49476/70 Heading G2H A developer powder supply comprises an elongated container 12 having a body 14 and a cover 16 formed with side walls at least two of which are spaced and converge away from said body and define an elongated powder discharge opening 30 which may be sealed with removable adhesive strip 20, a carriage 38 to receive and support said container and a carriage support frame 40, 42 and 43, said carriage being (i) rotatable in said support frame and capable of supporting said container in an upright or inverted position (ii) formed with an opening to align with said discharge opening and (iii) having a rib 83 which mates with a corresponding elongated recess 22 in the container 20. The carriage 38 comprises an external container support 45 and an internal package support 47 which may be telescoped with respect to the external package support. Rotation of the carriage may be limited to 180 degrees in one direction and is achieved by means of a key.
