Abstract

1328631 Prefabricated buildings HOPWOOD KAY-HOPWOOD Ltd 14 Sept 1970 [30 July 1969] 38244/69 Headings E1A and E1W [Also in Division A6] A prefabricated building is constructed from panels 10 of regular pentagonal shape and panels 11 of regular hexagonal shape or of half a regular hexagon subdivided symmetrically from one corner to the opposite corner. The building is in the form of a hemisphere with selective panels being dispensed with to serve as an entrance. Each panel may be made of nylon stiffened as by swaging and releasably clipped or hinged to adjacent panels. Adjacent buildings may be interconnected to form a complex and a single building may be in the form of a toy, model or childrens playhouse.
