Abstract

1327060 Triazines AGRIPAT SA 15 Sept 1970 [16 Sept 1969] 43938/70 Heading C2C [Also in Division A5] Compounds of formula wherein R 1 is hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, R 2 is methyl or ethyl and R 3 is cyclopropyl or methylcyclopropyl are prepared by reaction of a dichloro-R 3 NH- or NCR 1 R 2 NH- substituted triazine with an amine NCR 1 R 2 NH 2 or R 3 NH 2 respectively. The products have herbicidal activity (see Division A5). Dichloro-R 3 NH- or NCR 1 R 2 NH 1,3,5-triazines are prepared by reaction of cyanuric chloride with an amine.
