Abstract

1326416 Drain plugs SURE FORM PLASTICS Ltd 1 Sept 1971 [9 Nov 1970] 53221/70 Heading B8T [Also in Division B1] A drain plug incorporating a filter for draining tanks comprises a flanged and externally screwed body portion 1, 2 by means of which the plug is mounted in the bottom of a tank. Ribs 4 extend from the plug and are interconnected by a ring 5 and optional rings 6. The ring 5 is closed, e.g. by a cap so that the only drain path for the tanks liquid is via the lateral openings formed between the ribs 4, and end 3. Filters 8 are disposed between the ribs on downstream thereof. The plug body portion 1 may be hexagonal or circular.
